Seeing as we're based in the maelstrom i opted for lamenters as the marines of choice.
Here is the WIP of a coms officer to test colour schemes.
Equally I'm building up 30 or so eldar corsairs, here's five of the provisionally titles 'wraith company'.
Nice to see some old Rogue Trader/2ed Eldar with a new lick of paint. Loving the Lamenter too
ReplyDeleteLooking good. I miss the old Eldar pirates. Be a good conversion kit to sculpt up some similar heads and weapons for casting to make not Eldar pirates.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Great yellow especially.
ReplyDeleteBrent over at Strictly Average has his Rogue Trader Chaos dreadnought up today too. He's right - the models of this era may not be up to today's technical standards, but they make up for it in character, as well as by being a window on a wonderful period in gaming.
The keypad on the marine's forearm is cool. It shows how far we've come, but also how far we have still to go.
I have been looking through your posts and seeing as you like smaller story riven games with a scifi feel, I thought you might like to check out ambush alley games' new scifi supplement, tomorrows war. The rules work great for what you seem to be doing, and you can use the models you already have!
ReplyDeleteYup - on my list to check out!
