Continuing the old school theme, here's a set of Space Zoats I've just finished, for no particular reason except that out of all the many Rogue Trader era miniatures I think these are pretty much the best sculpted and the most fun.
Looking good! I don't understand why they got rid of the asthmatic space going rhino-centauroids. I guess that they were too cool and made their other stuff look less imaginative.
Excellent work on some of the best Sci-Fi minis GW has ever made (in my opinion). The fiery red background is perfect to show off their green colour-scheme as well.
I l,ove Zoats, and have a number I plan to paint for AE-Bounty. I wish, I wish that GW would return to them as a 'new' faction for the next edition of WH40K. Not going to happen, but I can wish...
They look great. I had to persuade a friend of mine not to eBay his old Zoats. I'll show him this post as inspiration.
ReplyDeleteGuess what Dr Bargle, just seen it!
ReplyDeleteThose look good, it makes me want to break out my old ones and put a new paint job on them.

ReplyDeleteWell, they're back in WFB, so...
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I couldn't even get these when they were in production.
