About half way through painting my Eldar landing craft/shuttle for my pirate/trader/explorer force.
Quite pleased with how it's looking so thought i'd stick a pic up now.
Pictured are the trader and some of the 'pirates'. I'm currently painting the crew of the pilot, gunner, warlock and two assasin drones.
Very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteIt's purely a quick repaint. The actual ship is an old 'lost in space' Jupiter II toy spaceship. I just glued all the parts in place (except the cockpit, i've furnished that with a seated eldar pilot) and painted it white :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful stuff - where is the civilian figure from?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The panel lines are very effective.
ReplyDeleteIt's an 'eldar trader' from 1987s 'adventurers' range.
ReplyDeleteI've also got a bob naismith sculpted 'female eldar trader' (not a citadel mini but sculpted by bob to fit in with the range) who will be joining them at some point.
The panel lines are actually recesses sculpted into the model, not sure if you can tell from that pic.
ReplyDeleteI was quite pleased how once repainted the ship looks very eldar as its got few straight lines and lots of 'blister' type protusions.
Love it!
ReplyDeleteMe too! Great looking miniature.
ReplyDeleteFantastic work!
ReplyDeleteThat looks ideal, very RT ish!
