Rogue Trader Retro-Rebuild Ordo Malleus Inquisitor
Here's the finished retro-rebuild (I just made that term up, maybe it'll go old school viral!). Hopefully there'll be more along soon (Inquisitors are like that, you wait for ages for one then loads come along at once...)
Very good, I like how you use what is already here like the pose of the fingers around the removed gun to give a very good hand expression. The paintjob adds a lot to an already very good conversion. The dark armour really looks like it weighs a ton. Congrats
Lovely piece of work. Very impressive.
ReplyDeleteIt really gets all the flavour that is expected from this character! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteThat paint job really suits the mini, it really brings out the character of the inquisitor.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome!
ReplyDeleteYeah, great incarnation of oldie model.
ReplyDeleteWell done! :)
Excellent. Really liking the mix of more modern bits!
ReplyDeleteHe looks even better painted. Now, do some retinue!

ReplyDeleteCongrats
Looks ace Andy - you've manged to improve on the figure but still keep it's old charm.
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks for all the positive comments guys, I'm rather humbled by them :-)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant , so much character with this inquisitor.
ReplyDeleteLovely idea well executed this, Andy. Looked even better in the flesh in Numas last week, too.
ReplyDeleteCheers mate, are you gaming on Wednesday night?
DeleteKitbashing new parts to make an homage to an older figure is a cool idea. It worked out really well here too, very nice.
ReplyDeleteThe barely visible face lurking behind layers of armour, clothing and decoration says "Inquisitor" definitively I reckon.
Great miniature, well-painted. I really like the pose with the hand on the sword hilt.
